Relaunched in 1999, Purple Records specialise in archive reissues and unreleased material featuring Deep Purple, members of the band, and related groups and artists. Selected original label titles are also planned for re-release. Check out our catalogue for details of current releases, or use the 'history' button for the story of the original label, plus collectors' discography. NOTE: Due to problems at our pressing plant, we began moving production of a number of titles during the latter half of 2006. This  will take time and some titles will be out of stock until this is completed. We apologise for this.
Available Purple Records and Sonic Zoom CDs can be ordered from the dpas online store.

Sonic Zoom is an offshoot set up to issue 'official bootlegs' of vintage Deep Purple live recordings. Currently most of the first pressings in limited edition digi-paks are sold-out, but titles are being reissued in jewel case editions with new sleeves. More about Sonic Zoom...

A number of Purple Records titles have also been issued in Japan, some in different sleeves. You can find more about these here.

LATEST : Purple Records have agreed an exclusive distribution deal with Biplane Records in Brazil. Because of the high level of pirating in this territory, we hope shops and collectors will support their efforts. These titles are specially printed with the Biplane logo. Check the distribution page for details on how to stock the titles.

Gemini Suite has never been issued on CD in Britain, and was only fleetingly available in this format in Germany as long ago as 1986. The remastering work has been meticulous, with the orignal 1971 production masters located and used. The studo masters have also been unearthed to provide collectors and musical historians with an extra insight into the sessions. The digipak has been produced with all three different original  sleeves, limited to just 2,000 copies in total worldwide. More details & sound clips..
